Use the Spotlight Cloud Diagnostic Server application
Open the Spotlight Cloud Diagnostic Server application. You will find the application on the desktop of the computer where Spotlight Cloud is installed. Double click on the desktop icon.
Sign in with your Quest account.
The configuration panel opens. Click Planned Outage.
The Spotlight planned outage dialog opens.
Click Add.
Add details
A planned outage schedule has a single description, frequency, time and duration. Multiple connections can be assigned to this schedule provided the other details are the same.
Connection
Select the connection(s) monitored through the Spotlight Cloud Diagnostic Server application that will follow this planned outage schedule (description, frequency, time and duration).
Description
Enter a description for this planned outage schedule. You may want to state the reason for the outage.
Frequency
Once
Select to schedule this planned outage to occur once only.
Daily
Select to schedule this planned outage to occur every day.
Weekly
Select to schedule this planned outage to occur on the selected days of the week.
Monthly
Select to schedule this planned outage to occur on the selected day of the selected months.
To schedule a planned outage for the last day of the month over multiple months select 31 as the day of the month. This will schedule the outage to the last day of the month regardless of whether the month has 31 days.
If the selected day of the month is 29, 30 or 31 then for months that have fewer than those number of days the planned outage will be scheduled for the last day of the month.
Time and duration
Enter the scheduled time and duration of this planned outage.
Enter the time as per the time zone of the Spotlight Cloud Diagnostic Server.
